CRI Disaster Chaplaincy Application

IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ BEFORE BEGINNING!

We are excited about all that God is intending to do through our Disaster Chaplaincy Team!

Basic requirements to become a CRí Chaplain include:

  1. Being a trained CRí Responder.
  2. Completing the CRí Academy Online Basic Chaplaincy course.
  3. Serving at a deployment or deployment exercise (a training).
  4. Fulfilling the application process, including references, an interview, and background check.

This application will require approximately 30 minutes to finish and submit.  We suggest that you think through and note your answers ahead of time so that it can be completed before timing out.

At the end of the application, you will be required to submit payment information for your non-refundable application fee of $40. Please ensure you have your payment information available.

AS PART OF THE APPLICATION PROCESS, ADDITIONAL INFORMATION MAY BE REQUIRED INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: RELEASE OF LIABILITY/ HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT AND A CURRENT CRI BACKGROUND CHECK

For the safety of all of our responders and those we serve, we require a current CRI background check as part of the Chaplaincy application process.

By checking this box, I agree to give Crisis Response International permission to request a 3rd party background screen on me if needed.

OFFICIAL AGREEMENT AND REQUIRED SIGNATURE

I understand that CRí reserves the right to deny my application based on information provided in this application, derived through contact with the references I provide, and/or through a subsequent background check.

I certify that all elements of the personal data I have provided are true, accurate and complete. I understand and agree that any omission, false statement, misleading statement, or answer made by me on my application or any supplements to it and in any interviews will be sufficient grounds for rejection of this application and/or termination as CRí Chaplain.
