Lodging

The CRI MIssion Base is a beautiful 84-acre property located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Lodging consists of dormitory-style rustic cabins.  There are separate dorms for men and women and each dorm contains a bathroom with facilities.  There are a limited number of family cabins that may be available on a first-come-first-served basis.  Bedding is not provided.  Bed size - twin.

For those who would like to lodge off-site, you are more than welcome to do so but we do require you to be present at the onset of each day's activities and remain on the base for the course of the day until the final evening session concludes.  All meals are included with the cost of your registration.

Meals

All meals are included in your registration costs.  Gluten-free, dairy-free options will be made available.  If you have other dietary needs and require your own food, you will be able to store them in a refrigerator.  Snacks will be sold at the CRI store, so make sure to bring some extra cash.

Children & Youth

Minimum age to attend - 18 years of age.

Background Checks

CRI routinely requests background checks for new trainees and those responders whose screen was done by CRI more than one year prior to this event.  The cost is included in your registration.  Please watch your inbox for an email from "Background Checks In Bulk," (the 3rd party screening company CRI uses) and respond immediately to that email.

You must respond no later than the Saturday PRIOR to the start of the event.  They will request your approval to perform the screening and ask for some additional information.  If you have questions or find that you are registering late in the process, please contact Wendy at [email protected]

It is CRI's policy that those in attendance of CRI (multi-day) events complete this screening for the sake of all involved in CRI training events.

For those who will be lodging off-site, a background check is not required.

Housekeeping Matters

For each of CRI's training events, we ask CRI Event Staff and Trainees to help with some of the necessary housekeeping duties during the course of the week.  It is not mandatory for Trainees (who are not CRI Responders) to help out, but we ask that you assist your team if at all possible.  We can use all hands on-deck to help things run more efficiently.  If you prefer or need to opt out for some reason, please email [email protected] by Sunday so we can plan accordingly.  We absolutely understand that there are times when people are unable to assist.

Upon completion of your registration, you will receive an email confirmation.  If you do not receive it, check your spam folder.  Look for emails from the training team as we will be sending you important information along the way.

Please address your questions to [email protected].

We look forward to seeing you in August!!
